Oriel Science headlines the Jamborî Weekend Family Festival!
Visit Swansea University’s exciting Oriel Science exhibition at the Jamborî family festival in the TechHub Café for an afternoon of science fun for all the family.
Make goo, create clouds in a bottle and discover the energy of vortex cannons, at this free event on Saturday 28th April from 11am – 4pm. The Café is located off the High Street in Swansea’s city centre.
TechHub, in association with Volcano Theatre, will also be running a series of live demos and tech/science based workshops and activities throughout the day.
Chris Allton, Director of Oriel Science, said: “It’s great for Oriel Science to be part of the Jambori Festival. We are very excited to add some science fizz to this family event. Come along to the Oriel Science exhibit in TechHub, make some slime, and learn some science along the way!”

Here at TechHub, we understand the importance of promoting STEM fields to kids, not just because they offer awesome job opportunities but also because our future depends on nurturing the next generation of STEM-superstars! The festival will bring together valuable skills and future-thinking mindsets, by encouraging all ages to have fun, while learning in a safe and friendly environment. For some, that might mean learning the science of slime, for others it might be discovering how to make a cloud in a bottle. All activities we will be exploring throughout the festival!”
